Kubb 2.4 released with replay video

Today we have released a new version of Kubb, the news in this version is that you can watch a replay of the match you played and you can also share it to facebook, twitter, youtube or over email.
This replay mode was made possible thanks to Kamcord (kamcord.com), a service that allow users to record and share their game plays.

We are also happy to announce the winner of the Kubb review competition. The winning review is written by Joshua Collins and he gave Kubb 5 stars. This is what he wrote about Kubb:

Of course, no video game of Kubb could ever live up to playing the real outdoor game on a nice summer day…..that’s a given. However, just the fact that there’s even a video game of Kubb is a pretty neat. I used to not care for this game very much because it only had the “short version” option (which is that the kubbs get removed from gameplay after being knocked down once in the field). Now that the update has given us the option to play the “long version”, which is the REAL way to play, it’s definitely better. I wish the throwing batons had a more real feel to them when being thrown, and I wish that the pieces fell more naturally, but it is what it is. The easiest way to explain both the graphics and gameplay is to compare it to an Atari 2600 game. It’s still nice to play once in a while, especially on a rainy day when you can’t go out and play the real game, but unfortunately it doesn’t keep my interest for very long. There’s no doubt that better graphics and game piece movement would improve this. But still……Kubb on a video game?! Who would have thought??? Kudos to Johan Axelsson for introducing the ancient game of Kubb to the electronic app generation!
